What to do with half an egg

i freeze any eggs i have. as no one in our house eats anything that uses a whole egg very often, OH might have a fried egg every once in a while. but I use eggs in cooking about once a week. so beat the eggs with a little milk and freeze them in ice cube trays,(3 cubes= 1 egg) so if putting a wash on something, I just take out one cube and leave it to defrost.....today's mood is brought to you by coffee, lack of sleep and idiots.

I used a milk wash but wasn't very happy, remembered why I stopped doing this when the top burnt to a crisp before the pie was ready. also milk doesn't give that lovely glazed look.
In future I shall try the following
freeze in ice cube tray and take out as needed. My pies are small so this is the most effective solution
curious to try separating I guess I would then use the yolk to glaze and freeze the white, would this be ok in a small plastic container - I'm thinking egg whites cant be beaten in plastic bowl so would storing in plastic matter?
try the cake in a cup
will try nuking and freezing
I need the egg when making pie for dinner so wouldn't want to make another meal.
Don't have pets to feed it to.
The feel of egg makes me queasy so won't be putting it on my hair or face.

I've sometimes used up a half egg by making a half quantity of my muffin recipe. That's 6 muffins. Better not to have 12 in this house where there's lots of weightloss going on, sometimes I just bung them in the freezer & take them out individually for packed lunches or if someone's popping over for coffee & I've not got much in.2025's challenges: 1) To fill our 10 Savings Pots to their healthiest level ever
