Hiya
I put liquid evergreen feed and weed on grass at my start of last month, i chucked the box and didnt take notice of what it said about composting, as i only got my composters this week, im going to cut my grass today its second cut after feeding and weeding,
Im wanting to know is it okay to chuck the cutting in composter??
thanks for replies,

I'm afraid it depends on what pesticide is being used in the 'fed and weed'. They break down at different rates! For many brands if you leave the clippings to 'compost' for about 12 months you should be Ok. I'd check another container for details to allay your fears!I'm mad!!!! :rotfl::jand celebrating everyday every year!!!0

Hi Guys
Just sitting here peeling a load of spuds for dinnerand wondered if anyone could give me advice in putting the peelings to good use?
I'm mainly concerned about smell and inviting house guests (mice, rats etc)
all advice welcomed with thanks:T

Actual composting is probably not an indoor job, but you could either have a wormery or a bokashi bin indoors which both break down food materials. I've not used either personally but neither are supposed to smell although in some cases the Bokashi bins can get a funny smell.Adventure before Dementia!0

I look into these, the biggest problem with outside is not wanting to attract vermin - anyone have any experience of this problem?
