Ooh Home Bargains.... never heard of that. I like the sound of that shop, very much. Must find that shop......:j

Yeah I could shop around but then I would be spending more on petrol (at Tesco garage of course - clubcard points!!) as Tesco is by far the closest.

    :o

I don't know if the petrol would make a difference.
As it was a fault with the Suppliers, i would imagine that Tesco would claim the money back from them?
    Not certain though.

https://www.mysupermarket.com is suppose to be good for price checking. Was reported in newspaper Tescos blatently increasing prices just before a special offer is put on.
One day I might be more organised...........
    GC: £200
Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb

Wilkinsons rocks for everything like this- they have more cleaning products than anyone, and they're all pretty cheap too.

Looking at mysupermarket and Tesco Fabric Conditioner 2L was £1 now 80p. Although it tells you it is still cheaper per litre to go to ASDA and buy their 3L for £1.

Anyway most of our shopping has now been switched to LIDL where prices seem reasonably consistent week in week out and offers seem more genuine not these silly rises and falls of price and their fabric condition is fine too.

tesco are always inflating prices, then reducing them back to the original price and claiming that there a special offer. noticed on a munber of occassions that a product as gone from 40p off normal price, to bogof but with an inflated price, then back to its special price all within a couple of weeks.
think it has something to do with clever marketing.moral of the story always check prices and if there have gone up wait a week and they might be back down again and dont belive that just because it says bogof that your getting a true bargin
