Well, here goes with this week's mealplan! Hopefully we can stick to it this time.
Mon - either a sausage braid with baked beans or a sweet & sour with noodles
Tues - Chicken Thighs stuffed with cheese and wrapped in bacon, with chips and lashings of BBQ sauce
Weds - Black Bean Chicken with Noodles
Thurs - Pasta Bake
Fri - Shepherd's Pie
Sat - Chicken Curry with Rice
Sun - Beef & Onion Pie with Mash & Veg
Again, I'm going to try to utilise the oven to the max so will be baking some rock buns or cookies at the same time. I'll have to sort through my baking cupboard and see what I've got! I really need to make a start on my Christmas baking.
Thanks, Skint, for starting this week's thread.

Hi pinkskyatnight (great name btw) this recipe is really quick and easy and yummy.
I use thighs but you could use any chicken portion/drumsticks/ breast. Remove the skin and score the meat with a sharp knife. I use Rajah tandoori masala powder which you can get in @sda (it may be available in other supermarkets) or I use our local chinese supermarket. I use 2 tablespoons mixed with a small pot of natural yoghurt. Pour over the chicken until it it coated. You can leave to strengthen the flavour for an hour or more or overnight. However I often just coat the chicken and then cook it in the oven covered with a lid or foil to stop the meat from drying out, and then just uncover for the last 5-10 mins of cooking time. In my fan oven this is about 45mins at 170 degrees for thighs but in your own oven just cook for the same time/same temp you would normally cook plain chicken portions/breasts
I use this mixture on chopped chicken breast to make kebabs too. Just make sure you soak any wooden/bamboo skewers in water for a couple of hours to stop them burning under the grill.0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗
