Morning all :wave:grey but dry at the moment, here in the midlands. One load of washing done but another to do.Loads of odd jobs to do but will see how it goes. I am finding it very hard to stay balanced so intend looking after myself.

  • Good Morning everyone and Happy Birthday to Sistercas I hope you get spoilt rotten :):)

Well I was up with the larks this morning and have done a serious amount of tidying up and decluttering already.Am just in my study at the moment (posh name for the smallest bedroom which houses all my paperwork, computer, hobby bits, genealogy notes and 8 'trees' and everything that I like to keep in there so I know where it all is).Mainly I am going through the paperwork in there and trying to reduce some of it.I have an in-tray that's piled high with mail and odd and ends that have to be gone through before I can bin them.So this will keep me busy until at least early afternoon .Then I will be doing some baking for my DGS, DD and myself to fill the tins up.

My sis-in-law is coming tomorrow on the way home to Faversham after dropping her sis off in Essex ,so she will be in need of coffee, cakes and a chat.

Tonight it will be feet up and some knitting and t.v. watching.I am so pleased I did a stocktake of my food stuffs and have got my menus planned out for the next few weeks so lots of NSDs fo me :)
Weather is looking decidedly damp at the moment ,no sign of the sun at all ,but at least its not cold.
Have a good and productive weekend chums

Morning all - I've spent a couple of days really revamping the finances and honing the plan to become debtfree, so I'm happy now I have an agenda and know where I'm heading.

Grim here and about to rain, but we've got to go out shopping. Our local butcher is doing lamb neck for £3.75kg so doing a lamb stew with pearl barley, onions, leeks, carrots and homemade dumplings tonight. A ton of laundry to get through.

Have a good day everyone :)

    Morning All,

    Happpy Birthday Sistercas:beer:

Just tried to do on line check in for mum and dad but website is playing up. Will keep trying as it saves them going to the airport 3 hrs early instead of 2.
Very pleased with the scales again today I just realised this is the lowest weight I have been since my 2nd son was born and he is 23 at the end of November:eek:
Need to give the house a good going through this morning and then need to pop to Mr T's for some fresh stuff.
Think washing will have to be tumble dryed today, just cant fit it all on the airer.
Later off for a run and will snuggle down to watch strictly.

    Have a good day all J x

Redruby - your tea sounds delish!:)

Weekend off:j Have been to Morris*ns and Ald*is this morning, just unpacked it all - I'm saving the 8 vouchers from M's to get £30 off my shopping.

Having a coffee then I need to clean the car and do some ironing. DH will be home late, he'll be shattered but I'm going to do him a full English as a treat!:)

Much milder here today thankfully - my poor hands were awful yesterday it was so cold.

    julie67 congratulations on your weightloss
hilstep good to hear it's getting better and premature birthday wishes to ds

Morning all. I'm really struggling to get back into OS but today I will make some progress. I'm doing a batch of pepper soup - if anyone has any interesting suggestions fire them my way please or it'll just be tomato and red pepper and the greens will have to go elsewhere. Got a mountain of soggy washing to deal with then I'm off for a mooch round the charity shops. There are lots of kooky looking little hospice ones around here. Bathroom bleaching will occur later, it's the only thing left to clean as housemate went on a bit of a spree last night.

Have a good day all :D
