Keep my number fiasco
Options
I currently have a mobile phone with
orange that isnt working properly. It
was a 2 year contract and its up in
january. I wanted to just upgrade
early and pay off the remaining
contract but orange said I couldnt do
this as they would not upgrade that
early.
ok fine.
So i took out another contract with a
new phone i got from dial a phone,
again with orange. I phoned orange to
cancel the old contract and pay it off
(which was no problem) but they would
not let me keep my old number. Orange
said if I was changing from Orange to
another company there would be no
problem but as its going from orange
to orange they could not do it.
Absolutely ridiculous I know but my
query is this:
Can i send the phone back to dial a
phone and cancel the new orange
contract ive signed even though dial a
phone havnt actually done anything
wrong?
Many thanks in advance
