Looks like Mr Butler is off enjoying the sun somewhere: automatic out of office until 29th Nov E-mail response.

Try the FOI at dvla address instead
Excel Parking, MET Parking, Combined Parking Solutions, VP Parking Solutions, ANPR PC Ltd, & Roxburghe Debt Collectors. What do they all have in common?
They are all or have been suspended from accessing the DVLA database for gross misconduct!
Do you really need to ask what kind of people run parking companies?
  • Hi Guys

Just wanted some advice please - I've got pregnany brain at the moment so I'm probably asking some questions you've previously answered so please excuse me!

I received a parking charge notice from VP Parking Solutions, dated 19th Sept, for an alleged offence on the 27th August.

As they were banned from the DVLA on the 18th Sept is their charge valid?

Also why were they banned? Was it because of incorrect signage? The letter I received refers to their sign which states that they will obtain details of the registered keeper from the DVLA.

Was this the incorrect signage information they were banned for?

I ignored their original letter and just received another dated 15th November stating the charge has gone up to £94.00

Should I email them and just say I'm not paying because a) They cant prove I was driving - there are another two people insured on my car b) their signage is incorrect c) I'm pregnant and I can guarantee I stopped no more than 10-min for a toilet break - this I am sure about and their times will tally d) It was entrapment as the photograph was taken by a 'man in a van' and finally I'm Happy to go to Court :-) I could do with a nice settlement with a baby on the way!

Surely on medical grounds alone a Judge would throw this out as ridiculous - 10 minutes.
  • What are you talking about - its a private parking company. it would never get before a judge. You're giving them far too much creedence. Ignore them, they cant enforce there ridiculous private invoice and you owe them nothing. There invoice wasnt valid in the first place.

Agreed - forget the dates, and leave them well alone. You've better things to care about!

The chance of them going to court is very low so just ignore them.

It much less than "very low" it's almost nil

1.8 million tickets last year and only 49 got to court and of those only 25 were won !

You have bumped a very old thread, if you go to the parking forum , right at the top is a thread by coupon mad, it's for newbies but in post #6 there are email addresses for this. I do recommend complaints, but I'm afraid they won't do anything to parking eye as they are the biggest customer of both.

I suggest you post a new thread if you want help with your invoice
When posting a parking issue on MSE do not reveal any information that may enable PPCs to identify you. They DO monitor the forum.
We don't need the following to help you.
Name, Address, PCN Number, Exact Date Of Incident, Date On Invoice, Reg Number, Vehicle Picture, The Time You Entered & Left Car Park, Or The Amount of Time You Overstayed.
