buying a smart phone on amazon

I have bought a phone on ebay before and the 'trustworthy' business seller ended up having it blocked so I am suspicious of buying used phones on there. Is it the same thing with amazon? Specifically if I purchase one that is used but supplied by amazon is there a possibility that it will become blocked? Any other more trustowrthy sites I can go to?

I think with the existing stupid system of blocking this is always a possibility for any secondhand phone. The only difference is how the company deals with the problem should it happens.0
