Long story short. I decided that I just wasn't using all the features on my contract with Tmobile and decided to cancel my contract. The idea was that I would unlock my iphone and use gifgaf until my phone packed in... Huge problems with tmobile and now don't think they will unlock my phone. Sort of feeling that it's all a bit pointless as the speaker on my phone seems to be playing up, the home button doesn't work (have activated the assistive touch). Don't make many calls but do use email when I'm out.
Any cheap suggestions out there? Don't really want a 2 year contract with anyone

If you want a cheap smartphone, Huawei G300 for ~£100 is believed to be a very good value for money, but there are cheaper smartphones on the market.
Search the board for 'g300'.0 -
I've had my phone for 2 years and now feel completely out of step. Think I'll go into a shop and look at them all (not buy). I have no idea what size they are. Never used to have to play with phone like you do now. Internet searches just don't work for this. Really make it easy for apple to win and just upgrade!0

I see phones 4 u are selling the HTC Radar for about £100. Have used one as a second phone for about a year now and would recommend it highly.
No expandable memory like the G300 and a slightly smaller screen (sharper image though as same resolution). However, it's got a faster processor (same speed but a more advanced type), a lovely construction made mostly out of aluminium and, with it running windows phone, it's very reliable and easy to use.0
