Sky Broadband speed, is it normal and will it improve?

I'm 450 yards away from the nearest exchange and I was estimated to get between 12-19mbps.... These are my speedtest results:

any chance of your stats on the router page please but if its only just started it could be on sky line testing software at the moment witch will take around 10 day

Yes you should be going much faster. Leave the router switched on for the next 10 days, and monitor you router stats.
You should see an increase in speed coupled with a lower noise margin figure. When the noise margin figure is around 7db then the link should be optimised.
IIFC you can see if DLM is operating on your line by going to your Mysky account on line.

Your 8 db line attenuation should give you a minimum of 16Mbps probably a lot more.
