Ipad 3 or 4?

In theory you could set your mobile as an internet connection and tether the tablet to it (either via bluetooth, or by setting the mobile as a wifi hotspot). But you can't add mobile capability to a non-mobile Ipad - you need to make that decision upfront.0

Now, I am not an Apple user ..
but won't there be a new model out early in 2013, then another at about Easter, then maybe the next one towards 'the Fall'
Of course, I could be wrong0 -
One thing worth thinking about - does Ipad 4 charge while switched on through the lightning connector? With Ipad 3 to charge it while it's switched on, you need to buy the 10W power adaptor, but I dont know if they've sorted it with the 4.0

Unless they have "fixed" the laws of physics I doupt it.
You just cant charge faster or use more power without providing it more power.0 -
iPad 4 it's waste of money, as it's only 3 things is new compare to iPad 3:
1) new small connection (to buy 30 pint adaptor - it will cost £35 - £40 from Apple)
2) New A6 processor chip (who is care that it's not A5, no F difference)
3) Front camera comes with 1.3 Megapixel (again who is care if your webcame is HD ready or not)
for above three option Apple charge more - Rip Off0 -

Do you own both the 3 and the 4? Or even any iPad? If not what are you basing #2 on?
As someone who does on both I can say there is a big performance difference. I'm usually sceptical when they claim 'double' but that really is the case. Check out their geekbench scores.0 -
I think unless you're a games geek then the A6 processor in the iPad 4 would be an expensive enhancement.0

depends what you want really, i reckon most people right now will be going with the Ipad mini
I presume she is just going to be browsing on it and stuff that does not really require the extra processing power of the new one
if so save your self a £100+ and get the Ipad mini which is effectively an Ipad two in a shrunk down size, but there is not really that much difference between the ipad 2, 3 and 4 that a casual user would noticeDebt
Barclaycard (0% for 29 months) = £2500
Barclaycard (0% until September 14) =£476.93
Barclaycard (0% until October 14) = £390.82
Barclaycard (0% until May 16) = £105.58
TOTAL DEBT = 10364 (aim to clear June 16)0 -

Is a new Ipad due out early in 2013 ?
Not sure about a Ipad mini seems like a bigger screen would be better. I am wondering if to take advantage of Black Friday.
Who is the mini aimed at ? They seem really expensive."The time is always right to do what is right"0 -
I am thinking of getting an Ipad and Which have the best buy as the Ipad 3 (not sure if they have tested Ipad 4 as yet!).
I am a little confused as to the cellular part. It seem to cost about £100 more to have cellular on it. If you buy one without cellular (just WiFi) can you add it later
No. The 3G aerial is built into the case, and you need a SIM for 3G, the WiFi only model doesn't have a SIM slot.0
