I would strongly suggest that the original person who posted this thread acts wholly in accordance with the law, and ensures that the genuine driver is totally honest and upfront with the authorities.

Aiding and abetting, perverting the course of justice to name but a few offences, can result in far more serious penalties, even imprisonment.

Furthermore, the original poster of this thread can easily be traced both mean of their MSE website registration and also their ISP numerical address.

Next time, keep to the speed limit and don't jump red lights. both are there for very good reasons!!
