pc world did it and I'm having problems getting norton put back on , apparently I don't think they've put the minimum requirements on there and seeing as I've had norton for years with no problem obviously something isn't quite right0

what windows do you have? access device manager, then click/double click on the sounds/speaker to expand the list, then see if theres a yellow exclamation mark or red cross on any of them and if there is, right click and see if you can enable it?0

From that Device Manager - can you tell us what your audio device is?
I was thinking that the drivers weren't installed but Device Manager would generally show this. You could try double clicking into the sound device and clicking 'update driver' whilst connected to the internet.0
