At year ending 31/8/11 they turned over £10,804,922 with a Pre Tax Profit of over £2.5 million!!!
They also have a CCJ registered against the company!0 -

The business model works because people panic and pay up - in their many thousands...0 -
Look at post 13 alll you doubting people who think that they should pay these ridiculous charges from these despicable companies!!!! Just goes to show you what sort of money they make by sending out these threat-o-gramms.Just done a bit of maths on this and on that sum of £10.804.922 it works out that they "catch"(if the average "penalty" is £50) nearly 6,000 people a DAY!!! Thats astronomical and far to much for toss...tosss....tossss...err.. (sorry im not very good at spelling, perhaps someone else could spell it out instead?) like Parking Eye...wonder what the figure would have been if the drivers/keeper etc who know what to do when they get the usual string of letters? AND THATS JUST ONE COMPANY!!!?????0

Hello again.
Parking Eye have replied to a letter I submitted which is pretty long winded quoting the usual:-
BPA Approved Code of Practice, failure to see their signs, terms of permitted usage of the car park, notification of schedule 9(2)(b) of schedule 4 of the protection of freedoms act 2012, recovery after day 29 of the date given they have the right to recover money from the registered keeper, blah blah blah....
They conclude their letter:-
In order for Parking Eye to cancel this parking charge we will need valid evidence indicating that you did not break the terms and conditions stipulated on the signage.
The parking Charge has been placed on hold for 14 days in order for you to provide additional/further evidence.
Any suggestions as whether I should reply or ignore?
All your help is very much appreciated.0 -

Andy - ignore Happy Trickster's advice - he's Mike Perkins who works for Combined Parking Solutions a PPC !!!! Strangely, Combined Parking Solutions were recently banned from accessing DVLA data because of gross misconduct.
You should ignore Parking Eye - many of us have and it works ( despite what Perkins will have you believe ).All aboard the Gus Bus !0 -
If you are the kind of person who can easily ignore the letters you will get, then the advice is to ignore.
If on the other hand you want this to end now, then ParkingEye are currently running scared of POPLA, so write them one more letter.
Dear xxx,
Further to my previous letters and following advice from moneysavingexpert I am writing to inform you that I will not be providing further details or corresponding with you again. I require you to contact me with a final decision regarding your appeal process within 35 days of the date I originally contacted you. If you do not cancel your invoice, I require you to provide a POPLA code. If you fail to reply within 35 days you will be deemed as having cancelled the invoice.Dedicated to driving up standards in parking0 -

Ooh... debt collectors.... scary...
Only not really. They have as much right to collect as I do.
Beware of false or misleading info posted on here from vested interested who know their business model is a scam.0 -
Thanks all for your advice.
Keep up the good work.0
