You must confirm that you are a UK resident and give them your UK address to get an account to start with. They will also check your data against the Electoral Roll and Credit Agencies. If you pass all those checks, you might be able to get an account.

Do you have a UK address that you are happy to have receive your banking correspondence? Are you on the electoral roll at that address? Are you happy to commit fraud and deal with the consequences?

Just to give a small update signed up to those 2 tesco saver accounts and santander 123 showed them as 2 debits just fine despite using one card/account

Took 3-4 days for tesco to send for signature paperwork but once verified seems will take a few days to go through.

I see 123 account but no option to create another 123 account or joint account on the online banking though ? Or do I just start a new application if I wanted to open another or a joint account?

IIRC I just started a new application when I opened my 2nd 123 account.

In your case if you have already got a 123 account you will have to start a new application for a joint account to get a 2nd one (if possible for you to have a joint account as one sole 123 account only allowed now).

One single or one joint 123 Current Account (or one of each) per person only.

Nope we got a joint after I got a personal one. This was just over a week ago. Just started the application process online over again.
