I am having trouble downloading files, such as Avast, ABVG etc. I am finding that the download starts, then freezes after around 50%, really no matter the size of the file.
I usr Firefox. There are some threads that look hopeful, to do with Profiles?, but the technicalities soon lose me!
Any ideas please, I really do need to get protected!

Are the only things you can't download antivirus/antispyware related? If so, it suggests a possible infection.

OK
I have run CC Cleaner, and there appeared to be around 1500 files to clean. I then managed to runa AdAware, which knocked out 'microgaming' and a 'Tracking cookie'
Still can't get all the way on Avast though.O would some power the giftie gie us to see ourselves as others see us.
