    Afternoon All

FB - Hope you get things sorted.
Beemuzed - Big hugs to you.
JackieO - Hope DD is still improving.
    Welcome to Missterious.
Tru - Glad Miss Tru is enjoying her job.
Taplady - Your painting is fab!

Busy day at work today, took DDs car with me and the chap from the garage picked it up, serviced and returned it before I finished, he only charges £70 which is good.

I have done a few niggly jobs since I got home, one of them being fishing the leaves out of the fish pond! The bathroom window handle has been sticking so have put some WD4& in all the little bits I can see so hope it will be better.

Going to see a production of Scrooge tonight with friends and DD, it's a local group and some of the children from school are in it.

Hugs to those in need, take care. XX
  • Thanks BB and camelot, things not sorted yet but I spent an hour on the beach and sorted my head out a bit, so that's a bit better!

    Welcome newbies :)

Not sure where today has gone! I went for a walk/jog, sorted a new route which is lit but it is along the main road, luckily there is a wide pavement. Then went to the little town to drop my boots off to be fixed. Then I went to the beach, beautiful day here. Then I must have lost a few hours :rotfl:.

OS update - WM been on twice as it was a nice day.

    Have a good evening all

  • Afternoon all.

I'm getting on with the flyladying this week. House is looking better for it.

A trying to get as OS as possible. Need to bake for the weekend as I will become the mother of a teen on Saturday  She is having friends around and they're getting their hair/nails/make up done. Other than that, not sure how to entertain them. Any ideas?

Tomorrow my son has an inset day and then on Friday, my daughter has an inset day. Son wants the new diary of a wimpy kid book tomorrow. As its a book, I will buy it for him. I hardly turn down requests for books. Am running out of space though!

How do you all remember what other people have posted? I can remember bits but not names to go with it!

Anyway, someone mentioned they'd been recommended happy pills. I have recently started Prozac. They are excellent. ATM, I am pre menstral but now no one else will notice as I'm not a monster! I've needed anti depressants for years though but have had t change to see what suits me. Lustral were the worst as I simply couldn't sleep!

Himself is watching the tv and taping something else so I've searched through and have set the new superscrimpers to tape in a few days time.

I hate Tesc0 so I don't shop there anymore. Well unless they have any very decent offers in. But I refuse to use my club card there.

Flutterby, you are so lovely. I hope your problem is removed soon so you can sleep x

Beemuzed, hope all goes well for your husband.

Right, well I have a small amount of ironing to do and I want to prep the stuff for himselfs omelette. He can make it himself though!

    Take care all

    Love (((hugs))) and spoons

Evening all, Another day of college ,cooking and school runs. I woke up sooo tired this morning and didnt have a chance to post so here I am very late in the day. Today i made meatballs and rice in a garlic and tomato sauce for dinner. Everybody seemed to like it and it was quite a moneysaving type of meal. One daughter didnt want it but then she doesnt like any type of sauces,so she ended up making a toasted bagel I absolutely refuse to make two meals

I love reading everyone`s threads and whilst I may not acknowledge all of them, I appreciate this lovely thread and enjoy all of the posts.

Had one of those days today, had to go and put a prescription in which might be ready by Friday, knowing our surgery I won't bother picking it up until Monday. I used to allow the chemist to pick it up, but they made such a hash of it I would rather do it myself.
Went into Aldi to get a few bits that I was desperate for, we will be doing the main shop on Friday, we usually do it on Thursday but we have a funeral to go to tomorrow. Got back and DH had put the washing on the line :A, then DS brought a load down from his pit so I washed that as well, some stuff dried but a lot didn't and is on the airer in the bathroom with the heating on and window open so hopefully it will be dry by morning.
We had dinner at 2.30 and it was all from the freezer HM chicken pie, roast potatoes and kale. I have done some more roast potatoes to replace the ones that I have used and I will do some more tomorrow. I have had some lovely potatoes from the market lately so this is a great way to eke them out. So I will keep tomorrow's lot for Christmas day, it saves so much faffing, I also have all my brussels, parsnips and carrots prepared and frozen, this makes Christmas day a doddle:D

    Welcome to Missterious and Norfolksaver.

flutterby Is the heart murmur playing on your mind? Try not to worry too much if it was serious they would have had you in straight away (((((Huggles)))))
