Cheapest and quickest line installation?

Wondered if anyone can help?
We have just moved into a place with no line installed. We know the best broadband deals for us, but they're all 12 month contracts and we can't get a line installed from those providers for another 7 weeks! Therefore we will have 7 weeks left to pay at the end of the contract. We also don't want to have to wait 7 weeks to get unlimited high speed broadband.
We've decided, on balance, not to do roll over and to accept the contract.
However, we wondered if any company offers just simple installation within a week or two? The cost of our installation we have to wait 7 weeks for is £60. Obviously we wouldn't want to pay significantly more than that, but perhaps a little.

IIRC unless you're in a cable area any line installions for other companies will be done by BT, as BT own the actual lines to the exchange etc (except for cable lines, and those in Hull from memory).0

No way to cut the provision queue unless you contract for a business line. 6-7 weeks is quite normal for this time of year.No free lunch, and no free laptop
