Now they have taken my money, i havent recvcieved anything and they are not even answering emails. Im now on over 20 emails sent to them....we will see how many it takes until they answer...im not holding my breath.

How did you pay and how long ago? If it was by card and over 14 days ago then ask your card provider to do a chargeback for non-delivery.

I think that you should learn to read.
That website IS the only genuine Barbour website.
All of the others may sell Barbour products and may be authorised resellers, but there is still only one genuine Barbour website, the same as there is only one genuine Ford UK website, one genuine Nike website etc.

The other sites that you mention do not have Barbour in their name and are not pretending to be Barbour websites so are not pretending to be the genuine Barbour homepage which is why pullip stated "Buy from the official website".

implying they are the only website you that sells genuine barbour so the only website you should buy Barbour from which is FALSE.

  • I think that what pulliptears meant was that there is only one genuine barbour website and not that there is only one genuine seller on the internet.

http://www.barbourbymail.co.uk is the genuine website and ones such as:
    http://www.barboursalesoutlet.com
are simply trying to con people into believing that they are the official website.

    Retailers such as:
    endclothing.co.uk
    thehighlandsstore.com
    bestinthecountry.co.uk
    astonbourne.co.uk
    etc

are making no attempt to deceive unwary consumers.

Weirdly went in the Barbour By Mail Store on Friday, some rather lovely new bits and pieces in there. Resistance is futile :D

That website still works, for me at least, at the moment.

As I have NEVER visited that site before then it cannot be in my cache. And as I am using my company connection just now then it is very unlikely that it is server-cached.
  • It's working for me as well.
