Sky Fibre

Hi
We have been waiting for fibre in our area for years - recently the service has become available in our area yay! Because we already have Sky TV, phone & BB we have tried to upgrade to Sky Fibre. Everytime we order it either online or on the phone, the order gets rejected and they say they will ring us back. This has happened 4 times now!!
Still no Sky Fibre!

Has this happened to anyone else??

Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker
Sky are reliant on BT Openreach to provision Fibre to the Cabinet.
It maybe that BTOR have not got round to your street yet.
    Have you checked on Samknows?
That gum you like is coming back in style.

I've just had this happen too.

Samknows says it's available in my area, Sky's website says it's available in my area, 2 people from Sky confirmed that it was available in my area and BT have just confirmed to me that it's available in my area... and yet Sky have just let me know that they are 'unable to complete my order' 2 weeks after I booked it because it 'isn't available in my area.':mad::mad:

I've been passed from Sky to Openreach to BT and back to Sky, trying to get to the bottom of it, with 10 minutes plus on hold each time. Terrible customer service!

Thanks to the long delay before figuring out that they can't provide it, plus the very long delay before they can send a engineer out, I'm now facing an internetless Christmas (and I haven't got a telly because I use the internet for that) :(

  • I'd love to have Sky Fibre. The standard internet just doesn't cut it for me.

Just been on the phone again to Sky and they're an absolute joke. Can't even get someone out on the original appointment date to connect me up for normal broadband. They can't even tell me until tomorrow when I would be able to get connected.

45 minutes on hold and no help at all. Fuming!

Keeping my cashback from them and putting it towards a package from one of the other providers.
