  • Turnover & Profit are two entirely different things.
He may turnover £1m but he had lost £36,000 of his profit. Stolen by his Bank.

I (and probably you) still remember how the banks pulled the plug on business's when the big crash happened in the 1980's!

They dont give a stuff about us, and now they are paying for it!!

Fantastic News that the bank have had to fork that out to him!...I raise my glass in salute!
  • Yay!! Way to go....
Have just sent off request to HSBC requesting £5k+ they robbed from me. I know the bank did receive my (recorded delivery) letter this am. Does anyone know how long it takes for HSBC to settle/strike out/defend the claim? (delete as appropriate)...Any pointers in this regard would be good

I've found this site to be incredibly inspiring and helpful reading through all the threads and success stories.

Not sure I agree with this.

I think that the reclaiming bank charges think for personal current accounts is absolutely fantastic, but this man's business has a turnover of over £1m a year, so how does he make a profit? By selling services to consumers at above cost.

Bringing the fight into the area of business charges is opening a whole new can of beans.

    What Rubbish !!!!

he has been wronged by banks according to the law . if it is £35 claim or £35000 claim the banks have still broken the law in the same way and claimants are entitiled to get their money back

as for charging his customers a amount so he makes a profit !!!! would you prefer he goes without and works for nothing ??? sell below cost ???

think before you make a foolish post
Better in my pocket than theirs :rotfl:
  • A classic example of an extremely badly managed account that should not have come anywhere near getting his funds back - where is all the usual rubbish about him being hard up etc etc - this is nothing more than bad management and laziness on his part - an absolute disgrace.
  • Has everyone heard about the guy that won £38,000 yesterday from Natwest? apparently it didn't get to the court stage.

I am sure that Natwest would be hoping that word didn't get out. Wonder if they tried a confidentiality clause.

Hi Becki, is this the guy Capital radio mentioned that has just qualified as a barrister or something like that yesterday morning on the news.
