I believe it has been settled out of court, Natwest probably want to avoid a judgment!

A businessman from Norfolk has recovered a record £35,987.94 from NatWest after accusing it of charging him unlawful overdraft fees.

Not sure I agree with this.

I think that the reclaiming bank charges think for personal current accounts is absolutely fantastic, but this man's business has a turnover of over £1m a year, so how does he make a profit? By selling services to consumers at above cost.

Bringing the fight into the area of business charges is opening a whole new can of beans.
    Gone ... or have I?

Do you think he should sell to consumers below his costs? I'm sure he would have a thriving business!

EDIT: I've just realised that you could have meant he is selling his goods at an *inflated cost*, if so then how do you know that? It just sais he has a turnover of 1m, we don't know how much profit he makes, judging by the fact he keeps getting bank charges I would say he isn't making that much. Even if he was, so what? That's what business' do! Also 1m turnover for a glass and conservatry company doesn't sound very much. A friends very small country pub with 5 employees turns over 1/2m every year.

    Absolute nonsense!
His customers have the choice whether to buy his products/services at the price he quotes. The bank has just taken the money from him with no choice on his part and at a "price" which has been proven to be exorbitant.
