December 2013 weddings

Hi all

Thought I'd start a December thread (as I can't find one myself - please let me know if there is already one!)

We are getting married on the 14th December 2013 at an old waterfront bar. Our "theme" is white, purple & sparkle! We are hoping to have a little wintery feel to it all as well (obviously!)

I'm a massive planner so have a lot of things booked or decided on at the least. We are also making quite a bit ourselves, so need to give ourselves a lot of time.

I don't know if there is another December 2013 thread - so I'll post here.

Yes, I am another December 2013 bride! we're gettign married on 30 December. We're not having a theme per se, but the colours are white, dark green and gold to match in with a wintry feel, and although we're not having any christmas theme, we don't want to clash with christmassy things too much.

We've booked the venue and I've bought my dress

Hi December brides! i am getting married 23rd of December 2013 a late ceremony at the hotel followed by a dinner reception, venue booked, photographer, chair covers booked and centre pieces bought !

Hello Ladies!

I was thinking about setting up a thread for ages but never got around to it... glad someone did!

I am getting married 28th December, we are having navy and silver for our colours and its a wintery, snowy theme we are going for. We are having sparkly, snowy branches as centrepieces with submersible lights, branches lining the aisle etc.

I am partially prepared! Main items booked, dress bought, got things like rings, flowers, bridesmaid dresses to do still.

Look forward to chatting with you all as next year progresses!

Hi All,

Another for December 2013. We are getting married on the 4th at the webbington hotel.
Venue, Dress, DJ, Cake, Photographer and Hair/Make up all sorted.

Not long left to go though :j

SNAP,, we are getting wed at http://www.1331-york.co.uk/ on the Sam date! SOOOOOO excited its ridiculous. our theme is blush pink, gold and navy blue. The venue is very Art Deco and so we are going to keep in with the theme but have a winter twist (fur glitter and pine cones!)

Happy New Year all you December Brides!

I was quite pleased that I got a few bits done in the Xmas sales - got the branches for my centrepieces and my bridesmaid dresses half price cant beat a bargain!

Still loads to sort yet including a DJ - need to get my ar*e in gear.

Hi Everyone,

Not been on here for a LONG time but back as we are now in the process of planning our wedding! We are getting married on the 7th December this year, so excited and anxious about all the preparations at the same time! We have our church and venue booked, and I am in the process of choosing my dress. Only got engaged on Christmas day so not had much time to plan anything yet!

We are thinking our colour scheme will be ivory/gold and black.

So much to plan!
