If I use one of the money off when you spend so much vouchers I got with my latest clubcard statement will this eeffect the price promise?
No it won't affect the PP.
  • My car holds 55 litres, I tend to fill up on quarter of a tank so basing my saving on this I will have £20.53 savings, unless I wait a little longer to fill up then obv more. We do use andrex, robinsons, nescafe but don't necessarily need anything in particular although loo roll is always handy. I really just want the best saving on my petrol but this is hurting my brain trying to figure it out. Can anyone suggest what I should buy please? Also can I buy online and still get the vouchers? TIA

The simplest way to do it is with dairy as you do not need a price promise and you can just throw it in with your normal shopping There are lots of good dairy offers. Cheese has a long shelf life and butter freezes well and milk is a good price .

watch out on the orange squash - i was vigilant not go get summer fruits insytead of blackcurrant , but then picked up 5 orange and pineapple NAS instead of orange NAS.

Does not price match - DOH. Going to swap them tomorrow. Thought I had my wits about me but clearly not!

This price promise business is a joke
Just had my delivery today and I ordered the robinsons juice and its not even compared this Tesco selling for £7 and asda selling for £4 so I should have got a £3 voucher instead its only gave me a £1.23 voucher on some other items.

Bottom of the price promise results page it says:
*This item is part of a multibuy promotion. The price shown above is the price after the multibuy promotion has been applied.

    What exactly does this mean?

I'm not trying to be a party pooper, but a few extra factors to consider before embarking on this process:

    • Tesco probably haven't got the cheapest fuel in your area, particularly during these kind of promotions when they typically inflate their prices by 2 or 3p a litre

    • You might find yourself (consciously or subconsciously) doing some extra driving in order to get your tank right down to empty before the voucher expires - obviously this is a false economy

    • If the "big fill up" involves going out of your way to a Tesco garage that you wouldn't otherwise have gone to, this also eats in to the saving

All the items you buy are free if you use the coupons to there full advantage, if you buy 100 litres your saving £50, if your car only takes 50 litres just get yourself a couple of fuel containers and put them in the boot and fill them, these can be bought for as little as 50p. I use diesel however it's not advisable to put petrol in plastic containers, I've spent £90 on dairy produce in the last couple of days and Mr T has basically paid me to take the goods away. This has got to be one of the best promotions ever.

Petrol is highly inflammable and should only be stored in metal jerry cans.

I got a 10p voucher totally by accident last night. Had popped in to get a few things for DS to take to work this morning and spotted the 'Good Heavens' 4 pack breakfast yogurt drink (£3.89) was on BOGOF so picked up 2 packs for DD who does not like breakfast but will drink one of these. Also grabbed a 4 pint bottle of milk (£1.00) so my actual dairy spend was £4.89, total shop £7.89 as had bought the £3.00 sandwich meal deal for DS and I got a voucher. CS man on the self serve ran after me with it as I had walked off with just the food receipt! Yogurt drinks have a use by of 14th December.

Petrol melts certain types of plastic, only use approved cans which are the correct type of plastic... or metal cans....
