Didn't think to get a container for diesel... Thanks for the tip, Redstar.

I was very happy last night to get £26.50 off my petrol.

In my first shop I got the Thornton's chocolates (needed for a Christmas present which had to be Continental), Andrex and the extra mature cheddar which I hope will price promise. (Have not done this since the heady days of DTD!) I also got some fillers and am very grateful to everyone on here for the advice. That netted me three petrol vouchers, a till spit for £1.50 off dairy and another for 50p off Lactofree products which I shall use at a future date. I used 2 x £2 Andrex coupons (sent when the free gift didn't work some weeks back) which I was going to spend on loo rolls anyway so was very happy.

The next shop was similar, but without the chocolates. Without thinking I threw in the dairy till spit and thought I had messed up, but I got my two petrol coupons anyway.

By the way, there seems to be an offer around for cooked meat, three for two, as this kicked in on my other, normal, shop, which included whoopsies.

I also managed to use two of the 75p Chokablok coupons on the ice-cream tubs which are on offer and reduced to £1 so that is worth looking for if you still have the coupons.

Very new to all of this.
    Please help!

I'm trying to get my head around this offer. Ideally I would like the £20 off a £50 shop and the 50p off per litre petrol and the 1000 CC points.

Not bothered about the price promise as I'm new to all of this so taking one step at a time (and it's not stuff I usually buy so I'm not sure it will benefit me really) and I will probably get it wrong and end up paying more than I normally do!

I'm thinking if I buy £50 worth of dairy, would I get the 50p off petrol voucher? (and the £20 off using the codes)

    Thanks

  • can anybody help get my head around the dairy thing please - what is the best way to get a petrol voucher, maximising the offers available but spending the least amount of dosh?

    Many thanks in advance :)
  • click & collect might be the way to go...did my online order, used both £10 off codes got:

    4 andrex toilet rolls £20
    6 robinsons juices £21
    frozen joint £5
    box baby wipes £6 odd
    £3 collection fee

    - £20 meal deal & new custome

came to £35 with vouchers off but when i collected it i only had 2 petrol coupons on...i pointed this out straight away & the bloke ran into store & gave me 5 more for my trouble :)

If I buy 6 x robinsons (two different varieties), box of thorntons and spend 8 pound on dairy (5 different products) this would get me 5 10p off coupons and would be able to price promise for the robinsons and maybe milk?
If I use one of the money off when you spend so much vouchers I got with my latest clubcard statement will this eeffect the price promise?

Be careful with the Robinsons as only the orange no added sugar and the apple and blackcurrant no added sugar are comparing.

Also watch that the dairy items you buy are not cheaper elsewhere as this could ruin your pp.

you could get £8 woth of diary but becareful not everything is included, bit unsure if you can get more than one for it in same transaction, if you look at my previous post i did something similar to get my coupons HTH

Don't forget PP vouchers are capped at £10.
  • How does this price promise work if you buy your shopping online, what do I have to do? I have never had a supermarket delivery, so I can get £10 off a £50 shop too.
