How much petrol can your car hold? Start with that then you can work out what's best. The chocolates are overpriced though.

Hey can anyone help me to figure out what the best way to do this is just by buying toilet roll (plus cheap 10p-20p items to bulk out a shop)?
Don't want any squash or thorntons etc and am struggling to figure this out...
    Xx

The price checking software does take the prices from the website on the day that you have shopped. So as Asda are saying it is £4 it should be £4 from today onwards. I might be wrong on that though.

Your best bet is Robinsons since Andrex has gone up in price. But if you need loo rolls then you can think of it as a discount on loo rolls instead. But you can spend £35 on Robinsons, get at least £10, I think £18 back and also the £30 off your petrol so you will be in profit. But that's just a random sum at the top of my head as I'm heading out. I'll check back here later to see if you have got any replies.

  • I sent the OH in to get the Andrex deal. He picked the wrong type so the price promise didn't work but was pleased enough as got 1 x petrol voucher. I didn't like the type of loo roll so took it back to CS to swop. At the end of the transaction, the CS gave me another petrol voucher. She saw the surprised look on my face but shrugged and said "Take it, the till automatically prints it when I scanned the two packs". Very happy

planning for tomorrow, I have a £5 off £40 voucher that runs out 18th.
    Shopping list comprises of:
2x aloe vera & 2x shea butter andrex,
    2x A&B nas robinsons,
over £8 dairy (milk, fromage frais, choc mousse & Elmlea all same price tesco & asda)
    warburtons farmhouse,
    paracetamol
    total spend = £40.08 - £5 voucher = £35.08 spend receive 4 x 10p vouchers.
Put 70l in car saving £28 submit receipt on prise promise and get £8.53 voucher all going well :j

The elmlea is a dairy great filler if like me you already have enough cheese in the fridge and not a lot of spare space for milk in the freezer as it has a 3 month+ shelf life!
  • Went in today and bought 2 x andrex, 2 x robinsons, over £8 on dairy and a few other bits so should have got 3 x 10p coupons, however cashier didn't scan one of my dairy products (yoghurts worth £2.25) so didn't get the extra coupon! I questioned why i hadn't got the 3rd, he said to go to customer services - who then said they'd just charge me for yoghurts but i wouldn't get the 10p voucher, so i missed out!! :(
