50 p off per litre of petrol at Tesco

Can someone clarify something for me please? I am going to buy £8 worth of cheese to get the 10p petrol voucher. The cheese I am looking at is on 3 for 2 offer. It is £1 each. Will be Ok with 9 of the cheese (worth £9 but paying only £6) or will I have to buy 12 of them (worth £12 but paying £8). Thanks in advance.
There seems to be a mix about multi buy. For example, the muller gave a voucher to some after multi buy, whereas other dairy products didn't. You could test it out and report back if no one replies. Best way is return it straight away if it doesn't work.Cup of Tea? :coffee:0 -
I spent £15 approx on dairy (instore) after multibuys and got 2 vouchers.
I wasn't paying attention properly or I'd have spent a bit more and got 3! The multibuys make it difficult to calculate though as I wasn't sure which item would end up being free.0 -
I did the extreme coupon today.
I purchased 8 x Robinson's Squash
Andrex's Toilet Rolls x 2 (9 roll pacls)
Total for above cost me £38
Filled up the car 64.01 Litres saved £32
£6 for the toilet rolls and Squash0 -

I can also confirm that you get 2 vouchers for less than £16 spend if you buy the Mullers. I bought 12 x Muller light @£4, 12 x Muller rice @ £4, 2 packets of Frubes (bogof £2) and one bottle of milk, and received 2 vouchers.
In a separate shop, I also bought 2 x Andrex and 2 x Robinsons. The Andrex were both the same type but although the Robinsons were 2 different flavours, they have appeared on my receipt as 2 x fruit squash - so either the SA scanned them as one item or they appear as the same item on a receipt. Maybe one to watch for when you are counting the number of items? I had planned on the squash counting as 2 items for the pricecheck, I think I still have enough items for a comparison - fingers crossed for tomorrow.0 -

You should have split the Robinsons and added a couple of Andrex, then got some daily food like banana, onion and so on for the money back as mentioned before. If you want more direction on that do ask on here or send me a message. Extra money in your pocket to spend at Tesco again.Cup of Tea? :coffee:0 -
I am panicking now - haven't done a pricecheck in any store since the old DTD days. Are there any experts who can tell me if these items will give me enough for a pricecheck? Andrex, Robinsons, one lemon, broccoli, carrots, hovis loaf, refresher bar, flump, Tesco ibupfufen, tesco paracetamol. Thanks for any reassurance! x0

Andrex shea will give you £2. The others will give you less or nothing. Robinsons, you need to make sure you have the ones that compare. Check mysupermarket.co.uk. Also check how much the hovis costs in Tesco and Asda. You have enough items for comparison hopefully.Cup of Tea? :coffee:0 -
