I am looking for cheap USB drives. Preferably fairly small size - say 1GB USB drives seem to be about £1 a GB so was wondring if anybody knows of someone who sells a job lot of 1-2GB drives for around the £1-2 mark

It depends on how many you call a "job lot". Some of the custom printing guys will sell you quantities with your company logo on them, for not much money because they don't have the overhead of individual packaging like Kingston et al. You'd need to be talking several hundred, though, to get the best price. I am out of touch with exact pricing now.0

            sorry - I guess I mean more like twenty0

In that case maybe look out for bargain basement deals - that's a pretty small drive these days, so not terribly easy to find.0

The size isn't so important but I want about 20 cheap drives0

You can get job lots of 10 x 2GB drives on eBay for just over £20 posted from USA or HongKong.
Search - 10 2GB usb drives shows them for me0

Got 32Gig one for just $21 - but that was from USA via a relative. 0 0

So if the OP chopped one of those into 20 bits would they all work?0

Nope but they could sure as hell get something smaller and cheaper from the US direct via a reputable retailer rather than paying more in the UK or risking it with ebay.
And in UK, Amazon sell 2Gig ones for around £3.67

I would prefer to pay more and get a good well known make Kingston for example.
But via the Amazon link, the OP could get them for £1.45 plus £2.00 delivery - seller CartridgePoint. Buy in bulk and you would hope the seller gives a discount on the delivery cost.0

So why not post your suggestion in the first place instead of an irrelevant comment about your own 32GB drive?0

Because I wanted to and its a free forum and you have not done anything except whine at me. Why don't YOU do something and post something to answer the OP's query!0
