Hi,

Iv been looking at this site to bu my girlfriend a pair of Timberlands; www.discountfootwear.co

Has anyone used this? Bit wary of using a new site that iv not heard of before. Many thanks!

Don't have any direct experience with them I'm afraid but I can tell you that the website is based in Cambs in the UK.
Might be worth trying to send a quick email to Timberland themselves to confirm if he is an approved stockist?

Please be warned, do NOT trust this shop!
My wife bought a pair of Dr.Martens on this website. They were delivered, but they seem to sell inferior quality shoes. There is something wrong with the stiching of the leather in one of the boots. She has been trying to contact them for 2 weeks but no reply at all to her e-mails! Also, the phone is never answered. My advise: do not buy there!! Better to spend maybe a few pounds more then ending up with unwearable shoes.

Only an 0844 number for contact, no email address, paypal only, they're all signals to me to avoid, although not necessarily a scam.

I wish I'd seen this discussion before placing my order. It all looked legit, the order confirmation comes from A1 Footwear and you also get an email from Parcel Force stating that a shipment is being sent to you from A1 Footware.

Upon investigation with Parcel Force, this means that the shipper has printed the shipping label but does not mean that the goods have been shipped. Although a tracking number is issued, there is not detail that the goods have been received by Parcel Force for delivery.

I have made over 20 attempts to make contact by phone. None of these were answered and the auto answer message tells you that "you cannot leave a message" which is even more infuriating.

I also sent an email stating my complaint to both the email address on the site and also simon.996@ btinternet.com which I found from the domain registration document for discountfootwear.co/

Basically Simon Jefferies, the owner of this domain appears to taking money, printing a label and not shipping the goods. His ploy seems to be to ignore any complaint in the hope that people will give up.

The company is based at the following address:

PE19 6XH

So really, the only option left is to drop in and pick up your goods personally, if like me, you are likely to be in the area.

Why are you bothering to try and contact them?

You ordered something, they haven't delivered, so get on to your bank for a chargeback on the basis of non-delivery.
