    Morning all,

Cold and damp here this morning, no washing to do, might go on a search for some.

Need to list some ebay things today, and have a tidy round and go and see my dad, dropping dd at work this morning.

We have a load of brisket left over from yesterday, I also have some sweede, roasted squash, yorkies and gravy left, so its either a very easy dinner today, or I freeze the veg etc, and have cold meat and chips :D I quite fancy that actually.

Ok better get on, have good days all xx

Hopefully it will be drier today so I have one wash out and another in the machine.
I have to clean the utility room out, I have all the stores of sundries in there and they are starting to overflow  I am not complaining I am proud of what I have put away so far, but it really does need a good sort out.

    Morning everyone,
Overslept, but figure I must have needed it! Lots of work to do today amd going to try to finish one project as that will leave me clear to do some of my own stuff later in the week. Means a hard day today, but it'll be worth it.
More stuff to do regarding son and his carers etc, but we have made so much progress in the last few months I'm not complaining.
Went to my textile group last night and had a wonderful time. They are a lovely group and do some inspiring work. Hope this will get me stitching again. I have plenty of ideas but lack the energy to follow them through.
Lunch will be HM vegetable soup and dinner pork again, although if work gets done, may turn it into a casserole for a change.
    Good vibes to all.

    Morning :hello:

I took the kitchen curtains down earlier to wash them, they looked OK but thought they needed freshening up. The tops were filthy  so I gave them a soak first :D They now smell lovely and are on the line.

Had a burst of energy this morning so I swept upstairs, aimed it towards the stairs and flicked it all down, then got the hoover out to do the stairs. I usually use a dustpan and brush but end up flicking the bits all over my feet, lol.

I looked at a crochet pattern the other day and couldn't decipher it so I've been googling for really basic instructions. I had no idea there were so many stitches - I only know one :o Well, two if you include chain stitch :D

    Thanks, will do.

Is there a site that lists the stitches? I want to see 'this is whatever stitch' next to photo of the stitch.

Drop me a PM tru, I crochet.

    Morning All

Wet again here, you may be pleased to hear;) and only 12C, so not much different to you. Catching up on some paperwork, DH took Skye to a neighbours to invite them round for coffee as we know staying in drives them stir crazy, but seems to be abducted, so I have peace, with Smooth Radio keeping me company.

We didn't wake up until 9.40am and that includes Skye:eek:, not that we missed much with the weather. Seems to have stopped raining now. Forecast says drizzle until tea time but should be 16C, a dry day is currently forecast for tomorrow. I had to do Skye's paws yesterday, the one thing they have to have is the fur trimmed between the pads, as otherwise they slip on the tiled floors out here, and get snow stuck in them at home when we have any. Use an electric hair trimmer and she doesn't seem to mind.

Molly Hope you had a good rest, btw, off to Burchclere, Newbury for the NY again this year, not sure on where we are staying overnight the 27th or just going straight there on the 28th, will decide nearer the time as DH & Fianc!e will be home, and they think they are not going back until the 28th. Shame High Clere closes for Xmas/NY.

Glad your DD is home Jackie-0 make sure she leaves the vacuuming well alone, that seems to be the worst thing to do. I had DS 7 and DH went back to work as I was OK, I managed to do a dinner, it took me all day, I had to put the empty pans on the stove, do one item at a time, and put them in the empty pans then use a small jug to fill them, and DH drained them when he got home, but it kept me from going totally stir crazy, I also learnt to x-stitch at that time, as it needed concentration, I was also used to full time work in a demanding job. I went back after 7 weeks, but did take it steady.

((hugs)) all around, take care all. DG
