Boiler and Tank Relocation - Labour costs

Evening all

Moving into a new place, which unfortunately has a tiny, inefficient boiler tucked away in a bedroom and an old boiler. We want to replace both and are happy to buy modern equipment - for example, a Megaflo tank

The boiler guy reckons for 2 days work for 2 people it's about a £1k in labour. There's a bit of new pipe work and moving of Flues involved. We are london based

Does this sound a bit pricy? Difficult to know what an acceptable labour cost is to be honest

Seems strange you have 2 boilers. Are you replacing both?

4 man days at 8 hours per day = 32 manhours = £31 per hour.
