Claim for compensation but no ticket?

Wanting to put in a claim as our flight was delayed over 6 hours back in November 2008. However, our tickets were booked through a travel agency and upon trying to retrieve the itinerary (electronically) there is nothing there - website is unavailable. I have spoken to the agency and they said they have upgraded their system and are unable to help.
Can I still send in my claim even though I don't have a copy of the ticket/itinerary? I have the date and flight number and agency booking reference.
