Would you still be peeved if you made 10 transactions back to back in Urban Outfitters and you only got £175 cashbsck instead of £250?

If I wasn't planning on spending £500 without the offer, then yes. Why wouldn't I be?

£75 down..? We're you buying stuff you wouldn't have done anyway? Amex/foursquare are literally flinging money at people with all of these promotions over the last month or so and people can still whine? Perhaps if you didn't kick the !!!! out of the deals so much then you wouldn't run into problems!
Lazy, i think you need to read my post properly and not live up to your name.
i was mearly warning people about buying things, when the offer was not showing on foursquare with the promise that amex will reimburse.
And yes, everything I bought with my card, I defiantly would not of bought any of it if it wasn't for this offer.
I bought a £60 wii skylanders game and two figures worth £8 each for a grand total of £26 after amex and coupons in HMV. I wouldn't of contemplated spending that much on one game.
I also got £225 worth of Elemis skincare for £46 (when amex credit the other £25) Treated my self for xmas,
£100 worth of goods from GAP, socks and 3 t shirts gloves and hat.
£25 on a lovelinks charm for a friend for xmas, chocolate from chocywockydoodah, jelly belly beans, vallarie patisserie, ect.ect. lots of places i would never of gone into, but plenty of places i've always wanted to spend money if it wasn't mine to spend :)
And so to add Lazy, amex stated that if i spend x amount i will get x amount back, so they should hold up their part of the bargain as they enticed me to spend on their cards by offering me cash back everytime i spend in a listed shop.
If you didnt take full advantage of the offers, then more fool you!:rotfl:
this is a money saving site!

Have done this now with both of my cards but no sign of any credit for either the Harvey Nichols or Gap offer on either card. Seems it can take up to two billing periods so I'll wait until then before chasing them up. But it's going to be very hard work if they don't pay up since the agreement is with an American company ([FONT=&quot]American Express Travel Related Services Company, Inc.) which is not the issuer of my credit cards.

Don't wait 2 billing periods. If it doesn't show up in your e-account after 5 working days, then email then and inquire.

What is their email address? The only one I can have is noreply@foursquare.com.

Don't bother contacting Foursquare, login to your Amex account and email them from there, I've always found them to be very helpful.

More difficult for Chomeur as if I read correctly he like many of us has an MBNA or Lloyds Amex, so doesn't have an Amex account he can email them from.

Ah, sorry didn't realise they worked differently.
  • I am still trying to find my way around the foursquare site etc, i have syncd my amex car etc, an i have checked - in 2 local places without even leaving the house,

I am really confused.. how will i know, and what do i do on my phone to get the discounts on the specific purchases?

also what are the points you get for the check-ins? can you gain anything with them?

sorry but the site is still a bit confusing to me:o
