Strictly Beds & Bunks - World Class Bad Products & Service

Hello,
I'm a newby here so please be gentle. Hope i'm posting this in the right place, forgive me if not. I wanted to take the time to share with you an experience of the pure comedy of dealing with this company, if I had the energy I would be upset but you only go around once so what is the point?
My Mrs and I had a little baby girl a few weeks ago - whaey. Her 2 big sisters (Age 6 & 3) were absolutely made up that they were getting to move into the big girls room and get bunk beds to fight over every night. We visited the website for Strictly Beds & Bunks, found the beds & ordered them. They werent dirt cheap and the images looked good quality - and couldnt find any adverse comments on line so on we go.
The beds weren't in stock but when we called they said they would be in by the end of the month. The end of the month passes, 2 more weeks pass - and no sign on bunk beds or any communication whatsoever. The wife phones up and speaks to someone who obviously is missing part of her brain, we explain that there has been no communication and were wondering when the beds would be in stock and are offered a refund even though we only want to know when they will be in stock. After we persuede her that we still want to be customers we find out when the beds are to arrive and happy days.
The beds arrive and as the baby is due I have no choice but to get them built so the children will have somewhere to sleep. The quality is s**t. I think they used dental floss to saw the wood. The paint is like Tip Ex and the wood is full of knots. I work behind a desk for a living and I reckon I could do as good a job by forraging for bits of wood and sellotape.
We phone up to complain and go through the whole no answering, not calling back, no email reply etc thing for 3 weeks. Including, and this is really the jewel in the crown of astonishing service, a transcript running like this
"Hello"
"Oh hello, I'm trying to speak to someone at Strictly beds"
"Yeah"
"Oh is that you"
"Yeah"
"Oh OK, Hi, I ordered a bed from you recently and was wondering if I could speak to someone about it?"
"Have you go a reference number"
"Oh yes, it's in the other room, i'll go and get it"
"You'll have to call back later, I can't wait."
"it's 5 yards away, It'll take 20 seconds."
"I'm too busy to wait, you'll have to call back later."
"Are you kidding?"
"No"
"Listen, I've been trying to speak to someone for ages, here, i've got the reference number now, here it is 1234567."
"Right I can see you've been in touch X has had a look at this, he agrees that the quality isn't very good but he'll not want to speak to you about it. I'll pass it on to someone else and they will call you back"
"noboday calls back"
"Bye"
"You f..."
END
The story goes on but you all have lives to live. Suffice to say we now have a s**t bed, no refund or reduction, and many comical storys about these cowboys.
Has anyone got suggestions for retribution? I really dont want these charlatans to get any more custom from anyone ever again.

New to this too. But the customer service from ANDY (sounds to be the same guy you dealt with and many other complaints I've found online) from strictly beds and bunks was so down right appalling that i couldn't not complain about it.
Extremely personal, offensive and clearly is working in the wrong field.
Decided to return the goods and get our money back solely based on his disgusting customer service, theres no way i was allowing a company that treats customers the way he treated me have any of my money. & i strongly suggest others stay away while he is still on the other end of the email/phone.

similar experience 3 years ago. ordered 4 items totalling £565. small mattress for daughter - she still uses it but big lump in middle! off to get her a new one later today.
our new mattress was less comfy than the present one - which is now 12 years old. ended up giving it away!!!
chest of drawers a nightmare to put together - hubbby did his best, but the bottom of bottom drawer was v flimsy and falls out - so we cant use it.
daughters bed. took about 4 hours to put together cos screww wouldnt go into slats and there were 2 bits missing. she still uses it but only due to ingenuity of yours truly.
before getting chance to put drawers together, i emailed to complain about the bed. got a very patronising email about how their 'bloke' had no problems with bed construction - taking about half an hour (yeah right), and basically implying that, i probably had issues with it because I was a woman (?!?!?!?!) . OK then!!! I am no feminist, but blumin eck, talk about rude!!! thats the last i heard from them, no chance to return (original delivery was just one bloke delivering), and no offer of refund.
what a waste of £500! I see the latest reply on here states they were pleased with service... maybe they changed their ways!!!0 -

Recently purchased a bed from Strictly Beds and Bunks (Aug 2015) and was looking to place a review and come across this site.
It is clear a few of you have had problems with this company a while ago. I however can only offer this company top marks for the delivery service and product supplied. When I first started looking for a bed I found Strictly Beds and Bunks Ltd on Amazon, they had a 98% feedback rating from there Amazon customers. Given I also purchase from Amazon I knew these had to be correct as only buyers can offer feedback.
I was emailed within four hours of the exact delivery date, a letter was also sent in the post. I was advised to expect an email the night before with a two hour delivery time, this aslo arrived. The driver even rang 30 mins before he arrived.
The product was a double bed, basic but for £99 delivered I could not ask for too much. However was really suprised, solid timber. The base was well supported so is built to last. I have had very few better experiences but a lot worse from internet companies.
I have already recommended this firm to family, well done Strictly Beds

I recently Purchased a cabin Bed for my daughter. The quality of the product is aweful and unsafe. Avoid this company like the plague there products are unsuitable for there purpose.
My customer service experience was very similar. Basically we have your cash tough luck!0
