I have no idea what this stuff mentioned is, seems like febreze for mouth, i.e a mask for bad breath. A sweaty trainer is still a sweaty trainer, whether treated with febreeze or not. A smelly mouth the same!
I can't speak highly enough of TePe brushes. Apparently they've been around since 1965, but I was only introduced to them by an NHS dentist this year. Previously, I'd only used floss, (hate it, slips and slides) and wooden interdental sticks.
The smell from using the brushes was disgusting, not just for the first couple of times, but maybe two weeks? I assumed that was how between the teeth always smelt. That was back in April but my brushes smell of nothing now.
I questioned why on the overhead pictures, my gum on the before picture on a particular tooth looked strange, with a sick rim around it? It's now nice and pink, and that's before the deep clean scheduled.
My dentist is very pleased with how my gums have improved. (New private dentist of only 3 weeks ) I'm thrilled and I love TePes. Give them a go, order from Amazon as dead cheap.0 -

It's not. Avoid.How to find a dentist.
1. Get recommendations from friends/family/neighbours/etc.
2. Once you have a short-list, VISIT the practices - dont just phone. Go on the pretext of getting a Practice Leaflet.
3. Assess the helpfulness of the staff and the level of the facilities.
4. Only book initial appointment when you find a place you are happy with.0 -

Exactly right.
The thing that will improve bad breath is better cleaning.
There is nothing in a bottle that will substitute for poor cleaning/rushed cleaning/poor cleaning technique. How to find a dentist.

I'm sometimes aware of getting a "claggy" feeling at the back of my throat. Over the years I've had bad sore throats and tonsilitis many times - as a child I think I just put up with the pain because my parents never really did the sympathy thing so I just learned to get on with it. Having read up on it I think my tonsils should have been taken out long ago. They're now all scarred and craggy, and I often get tonsil stones - which are a build up of nast and bacteria that get stuck in chunks in the piited areas round the back of my mouth. Every so often when I'm coughing I hack up one and they look just like little bits of chopped nuts. If you squash one across the back of your hand they smell like the worst worst smell ever. Little yellow bits of death smell. Urgggkkk. Anyway, I get the same nasty smell just coating the back of my throat sometimes like a thick spit - and I can feel the death balls building up in my tonsils but difficult to cough them up on demand. I always find its worse at when I've been eating dairy products, as they lead to increased mucus production hence the "claggy" feeling at the back of my throat, and if I'm having a particulary bad week and living off dairy milk then the death balls soon follow.
And the moral of the lovely story is.....find out what makes it worse and work with that. I don;t get sore throats as much nowadays but my poor tonsilts are f**ed beyond belief. I know if I have a hot date coming up (not often these days!) I dont eat chocolate for a week beforehand and cut down on milk and yoghurts too. I sympathise with anyone who gets honky throats. It aint nice.0 -

No mouthwash is "good" unless prescribed by a dentist for short term use only.
All interact with toothpaste stopping it working properly and 98% of all mouthwashes are classed as cosmetic only ie they have no clinical benefit.0
