Hi all, I fancy making a Christmas wreath this year but does anyone know where I can buy the 'wreath', foam if possible.
Hobbycraft prob do them but reckon they'll be expensive in there.

Wilkinson's sell them.
As well as all the other bits to make them up such as ribbon, bells, pine cones, etc.Smiles are as perfect a gift as hugs...

I make wreaths and it really depends on what you are wanting to put on it as to what you need
If you are making a greenery wreath then I'd be tempted to get a hay circle or even just a wire frame one
If you are making something more for indoors then a white polystyrene one shoudl do for most things... especially if you want to glue stuff to it

Thanks all, will check them out. I'm planning on a fabric covered type shenanigans as I've got a ton of fabric I haven't got round to sewing yet :rotfl:0

Have you thought about a rag wreath. You will only need to buy some hessian. Cut your material into strips and push into the hessian. I have a proper tool for doing them but you can use a wooden dolly clothes peg cut in half. There are instructions for rag rugs on the internet so Im sure you can see what they look like.0

I made a rag wreath last year It is soooooooooooo easy .Get a metal coat hanger and bend into shape then cut lots of strips of material about 1 inch by 5 inches and then just tie around the hanger with a double knot.Life is like a bath, the longer you are in it the more wrinkly you become.0
