Well, 2 weeks in & I am still not convinced
. I find the edges being 'blurry' very irritating (& yes, I spent out on the 'best' ones available). Driving is okay but has a faint feel of tunnel vision since things on my peripheral view are not clear.
I do know people who get on fine with them, and I can wear them okay, but I feel I would be "tolerating" the limitations rather than 'enjoying' wearing them. Does this sound odd?
Wondering whether to ask to try bifocals. Not bothered by whether they "age" me!
Any here who have switched to bifocals?Plan for tomorrow, enjoy today!0 -

Time to go back to optician to check fitting. Sometimes the actual glasses are not fitted correctly so you are forever looking out of the wrong part of the lens - very common if you are wearing small lenses
I have pretty narrow small lenses and I was told no chance of vari's but with very careful measurements and fittings they are grand. No blurring at all0 -
CFW I was just thinking about this today. I have been wearing varifocals for about eight years now and a colleague was fitted at the same time. She had weeks of problems with hers - particularly down stairs and up kerbs, etc. whereas I was quite used to mine in just a few days. The reason this sprang to mind is that I am now considering contact lenses as the technology has moved on so much and quite honestly I think glasses are a complete pain. I would definitely persevere with the varifocals and keep going back to the optician who provided them until you are completely satisfied.Solar Suntellite 250 x16 4kW Afore 3600TL dual 2KW E 2KW W no shade, DN15 March 14
