    Hi everyone,

Its been ages since I'm been on this thread but wonder if I could post my lists again (I'll delete them as I'm done). I've REALLY let things slide and this has always got me back on track in the past :D

    Evening ladies

Have had a full day at the paid stuff and am ridiculously busy at the moment. DD is out this evening at a school trip to the theatre in Norwich so will be back very late and DH had cooked dinner (just as well as I have been busy with paperwork) so helped him clear away after and do a bit in the kitchen/DR.

Monday - kitchen and dining room
    Level One
    Level Two
Check who has a birthday this week or next and get organised!
    Level three
    Extras
Do you really need all that Tupperware? Even the ones with the missing lids?
Find the Christmas tablecloths and napkins etc
    HHI

    Deleted is done

Governing body meeting done. My Chairing was good to start then went down hill. I need some help with keeping things on track and stopping one particular member from taking over.

Thanks for the recommendation Tyadog. I'm a big believer in reconditioned goods and I know how much it cost to hire a machine the last time I washed all of the carpets, so I also know how expensive the chemicals are! I've followed your recommendation and placed an order because I found another patch of carpet where the fibres are really stiff on the stairs. I've been putting this off for far too long - I specialise in adopting old dogs, so she isn't the first to make a mistake and she won't be the last.

She's now saying it's time for her final walk of the day, so a special thank you to Tyadog, Kazmeister and Mrs MoneyPenny for all your kind thoughts. :licks:
    Better is good enough.
  • Here it is then:

Monday - kitchen and dining room
    Level One

    Sweep and mop the floor
    Level Two
Wipe the work surfaces - what you can see
Wipe out the fridge and check the drain hole
    Level three
    Clean the washing machine drawer
    Polish the table

I s&s the bathroom this morning which needed doing more than anything else. I've also made the kids lunches tonight instead of in the morning!

    :)

I hope the cleaner works as well for you as it has done for me Honey Bear,it has been a godsend at times. I'm lucky just now as my labradors are not accident prone in general but I remember well the days of nursing the old dogs who needed lots of tlc to help them enjoy their last years/months - very rewarding, making all the hours of effort and hard work so worthwhile to be able to enjoy longer with them. I hope you can get as much time as possible with your dog. I've thought about homing older dogs in the future when the current brood is no more but at the moment it wouldnt be fair due to my working hours -

Dusty thank you for the welcome back - I'm always lurking and read everyday, I'm just not very good at all at posting - shall try to do better!

I had a good clean and tidy all round over the weekend, and am up to date with washing, have about 5 or 6 items to iron and even did a load of batch cooking to restock the freezer yesterday - it's completely full now :D and I've lot of home made ready meals for week nights after work, as I simply dont have the inclination to cook from scratch most nights after work. I should try to post here more often - I find the long winter nights dont give me much motivation to do anything after work, so I sit on the couch and do nothing other than think about what to do all too often!

    So:-
Monday - kitchen and dining room
    Level One
    [STRIKE]Sweep and mop the floor[/STRIKE][STRIKE]
    [/STRIKE]Level Two
[STRIKE]Wipe the work surfaces - what you can see[/STRIKE][STRIKE]
Check who has a birthday this week or next and get organised
[/STRIKE]Wipe out the fridge and check the drain hole
    Level three
    Clean the washing machine drawer
[STRIKE]Empty and clean out your bins[/STRIKE][STRIKE]
    [/STRIKE][STRIKE]Polish the table[/STRIKE][STRIKE]
    [/STRIKE]
    Extras
[STRIKE]Do you really need all that Tuperware? Even the ones with the missing lids?[/STRIKE][STRIKE]
[/STRIKE]Find the Christmas tablecloths and napkins etc I dont have special xmas napkins, but do have a xmas tablecloth which got freshened in the machine last week, so all ready to go!

Just made a cake for DS's birthday tomorrow, so I have re-wiped the surfaces. Just the sandwiches to do, cup of coffee and then I am calling it a day. Probably only manage a quick S&S tomorrow, but I will get back on track on Wednesday. Thanks to all for getting me back on track.

Busy day at work but quiet productive. Jig around the meal plan after cleaning the fridge to use up all the bits and pieces, I'm hoping that a £20 shop should be all we need on Friday. As well as the list I've done a load of washing, prep'd the slowcooker for tomorrow, and sorted lunches. Off to bed in a minute

Monday - kitchen and dining room

    Level One
    [STRIKE]Sweep[/STRIKE] and mop the floor

    Level Two
[STRIKE]Wipe the work surfaces - what you can see
Check who has a birthday this week or next and get organised
Wipe out the fridge and check the drain hole[/STRIKE]

    Level three
[STRIKE] Clean the washing machine drawer
Empty and clean out your bins
    Polish the table[/STRIKE]

    Extras
    [STRIKE]Meal plan
Do you really need all that Tuperware? Even the ones with the missing lids?[/STRIKE]
Find the Christmas tablecloths and napkins etc
    Meter readings
    [STRIKE]HHI[/STRIKE]

    Weekly list
    Sort xmas card list
    Phone chimney sweep
    Order logs
    List 5 items on ebay
