Iluvmarmite.... cracking post.
for the people who are posting and have never had a PDL, you should leave this thread, a you have no idea.
Some of these companies email saying they will contact your employer, once a payment is missed.... big no no.
Also some PDL's dont do court ie Minicredit. never heard of them taking this route, simply as their credit agreements and il legitimate charges wouldnt stand up.
Ie they will charges you £6 for a failed debit card transaction, and they will claim they try several times a day.
How does any punter know they have tried multiple times.???
On another forum a poster was being harrassed for near £2000 for a £150 loan from them.
A breakdown was requested and one they were claiming £600 in failed debit card attempts. now it costs minicredit nothing on a failed debit card payment.... so would the jude enforce that?? NO
their is a few that will go to court, but with a good defence, you have a good chance.
Now what marmite does is slightly wrong.
I would only communicate thru email as this creates a paper trail.
I would offer a small token payment to be paid by bank transfer.
some of these companies will refuse, in court the judge will be !!!!ed by this.
some companies will never respond to your emails. again more evidence.Promo codes are never always cheaper..... isnt that right EuropCar?0 -

Still too difficult?
Seriously, stop trying to help other people....
in all fairness, thats only a summary of t&c's.
its not a credit agreement.
if it was, the judge would throw it out every time.Promo codes are never always cheaper..... isnt that right EuropCar?0 -
nothing constructive to add then don't add nothing:)
That is a double negative. You mean 'don't add anything'. This sort of basic English howler betrays you, I'm afraid.I used to think that good grammar is important, but now I know that good wine is importanter.0 -
