Has anyone actually (successfully) had this model unlocked by a "market guy", and if so what did they charge?

Thanks for wasting our time, Guy's Dad: this thread is about unlocking this 'phone. The link you provided is just to them selling one for £14 that is locked to O2; maybe you didn't realise that. (I think Argos sell an unlocked version of it.)

There is no need to be rude to someone trying to help another poster. Rather than posting just to have a dig would it not be more helpful to actually post an answer?

This will be unlocked as O2 dont lock PAYG nokias
