New Credit Agreement on Report

Hello,

Firstly I'm sorry if I've posted this in the wrong area.

I've just checked my credit report. On the 3rd of November there is an 'alert' that I have a 'New Credit Agreement' and a 'New Linked Address'

The information shown is from BT and just says "New information". The address is the my student house when I was at university over 4 years ago.

In the actual report it shows the following information for my BT account...

Terms: 0 @ £ 0 (Quarterly)
Status: Settled
Current Balance: £ 0
Start Balance: £ 0
Credit Limit: £ 0
Default / Delinquent Balance: £ 0
Start Date: 19/09/2007
Date Updated: 28/06/2009
Date Satisfied: 30/06/2008

Should I be worried about this latest update?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Seems a bit random. Especially as this account was closed in 2008.

I shall keep an eye on it, and on my accounts, make sure nothing fishy happens.

O2 reported my account again in April 2012.

I closed it down in 2008!!!

I got a few marketing e-shots from them around about the same time.

    Naughty.

This happened with me and an old Virgin mobile phone contract that had been closed for about 5 years, although in my case it wasn't marked as settled anymore so it was much more of a problem (at an old address). Sent an email to Equifax and they corrected it in within 2 weeks.

i'm in a similar but worse situation....BT have added to my report from 2009 with a default. I am disputing this as I paid final bill when cancelled and was reassured of a balance of zero. I hope I can manage to get this removed! :(
