An iPhone app to hide your location - which can be switched on/off?

Basically there's a radio station i liked to stream via TuneIn Radio which is no longer available outside of the US.
Is there an app that you can download which 'hides' your location, but for those times you want to log in to your iTunes account & access the UK side of things, you can switch said app off?

You need to look for a VPN or proxy App but I've no idea of one for the iPhone in unjailbroken form and doubt Apple would approve one.
Running the VPN server would cost money and use a lot of bandwidth too, I can't imagine it would be a free service either, they tens to be a tenner or so a month and upwards to use.0 -
You can easily hide your location by turning off Location Services under Settings, Privacy, which will prevent any app from knowing your location. However unlike other apps, TuneIn is not using the iPhone's Location Services, but instead the radio station's server is detecting that your IP address is not in the United States. Therefore you need a US IP address, for example a proxy server as suggested above.0

NFH - would that method work to combat Quidco's restrictions on check ins? If you're not familiar with it then they require approx 5mins between check ins. Any less & an error tells you you checked in somewhere else not long ago.0

There are two ways an app knows your position, one is to use your IP, the other is to get the phone to pass it's location to the server.
Turning off location services means the phone will not pass it's location however you are still conencted to the internet by the radio network and your IP can be used to give away your location. Look at if this way, if Virgin Media used IP's in the range 1.2.3.1 to 1.2.3.255 then any US server bould be set to say no to that range knowing it is exclusivly used by a UK company and so UK users. Servers can also look at the systems the request has come through and work out your location. Turning off location servives will make no difference if this is used.
Although that over simplifies how geolocation is done that the basics. See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IP_address_location for other examples and uses.
Would it work with Quidco, no idea, if you have an IP address that looks to come from the US it may reject you or direct you to the US service, but most likey its looking at ip changes not location.0
