I have bought YC for years. I got some samplers a while back and a couple of them simply didn't smell when burning so I emailed YC and received a lovely response and a £25 YC voucher. I agree with people talking about the walls getting all sooty - I used to curn candles on the window ledge in our kitchen and the wall above it was disgusting. So nice to get it all painted this year and I haven't burned any candles there since.

  • Gret bargain for a really good branded candle BUT they're not quite 30% off.

It's 20% off the standard price and then 10% off the discounted price which makes a total of 28% discount on standard price

Excellent price - have just ordered one of these to replace the lavender jar that has just run out in our bedroom. Thanks for sharing.
  • I got fed up with sooty walls and unsightly black jars too. I tried a company called Scentsy last year and their warmers are beautiful, and the fragrances really strong!! The warmers are electrical so there is no wick, no soot, and safe to have around children and pets.

After a couple of months I became a consultant for them https://www.waxdays.scentsy.co.uk xx
  • Clintons ( if you still have one open :) ) does 20% off a different fragrance I think every month, I bought the large winter cherries for £14.99 . My last large jar from last Xmas still has a fee hours left in it
  • I love Yankee candles and they last for AGES ! I had a medium size given to me in February and still burning tonight and use most sat / sun nights :) ordered three 2 for santa and one for me :)
  • I use a company called Partylite, they are great candles, no black walls etc. same sort of price as yankee candle.
Can't buy in shops though, they work through home selling - candle parties. you host the party in your home then get free gifts for being the host. I held a party at home a couple of weeks ago and got £65 hostess credit to spend in the catalogue. FREE CANDLES :j

I didn't go with this offer in the end as there was a particular fragrance I wanted that neither Play nor debenhams stock - Apple and Pine Needles. I ordered from QVC instead last night. Their Christmas Surprise was 3 x large jars for the price of 2 and on 4 easy pay of £9.99 a month. I got the three new Christmas fragrances Apple and Pine Needles, Cranberry Ice and Sugared Apple. These will last me well into Spring. x
Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!
