My sister isn't exactly in good health so you can't find the medicines she needs in pharmacies so she uses ebay. She's 16 so she knows what she's doing but as she's not 18 yet she doesn't have any account.

16 and buying medicines on Ebay because she cannot get them in a pharmacy. I'm sorry, but I find that alarming.

I also find that alarming. If she cant get them from a pharmacy it sounds like those drugs haven't been approved for use in this country

I can't speak for everyone but I first started using eBay in 1999. Since then I've cancelled precisely zero bids. The only time I've had an issue is with one INR and one fake box set. So once every seven years so far....

Me too, never cancelled a sale as I've always read the listings carefully and known what I'm buying. I find the reasons you state for cancelling sales poor to be honest, if you discover the seller has changed an aspect of the listing during the auction then you should contact them before the auction ends to state you wish to withdraw your bid and your reasons why, listings can't be changed once you've done a buy it now or auction has ended.

  • Wish I knew OP's ID on ebay so I could block them to prevent wasting my time !

OP if your sister is buying medicines on ebay, dangerous. Why not just use the tried and tested method ie: go to the doctor, be prescribed a drug you need, and the pharmacist sources and provides it. Seems to work for a lot of people!

Or am I missing something?!
