  • My cats run away from them, i think they might of got bitten, now they don't bother.
  • Seemed to get alot today. Family came running in to ask me to get rid of a "big" one from the bedroom. To them it was huge, to me it was medium size, I've seen these !!!!!!s alot bigger but they are at that scary size now. I've only ever seen one that was big enough to prevent me from picking it up, had to use a glass.

Not a clear image, I was probably shaking :p Picked it up and threw it out. I'm about ready to purchase that linked product I'd just ideally like to get some feedback from anyone who's used it.

did you have to post that!!!!!!!!! nearly leapt of my seat! hate the things since a family friend screamed the place down when I was a toddler sat playing with a spider!

my parents have gone away this week and no sooner had they left a spider appeared, closely followed by all his mates (think they know its an open house) spending my whole time watching out for the horrible things! one things for sure all my work mates find this hillarious!
finally debt free and want to keep it that way!!
  • actually thinking of it hate isnt the right word! try petrified, that picture gives me the shivers when I scroll up/down the page! Its irrational really as I know its only a picture!

oh and just to let you know 2 people have told me about conkers this week, one said put them in every corner of the room (think I might obsessively line them around all the skirting boards in my house) and another said put a bowl of conkers in the room. guess where Ill be when the conkers start to fall!

for the big gaps i would use mortar, about 8 to 1 sand and cement.
make sure you push it in a good few inches.
for the small ones id use silicon sealer with a gun. much easier than exterior pollyfilla.

Any recommendations on where to pick these up from? Thank you.

Silicon where brick meets timber, use decorators caulk between skirting and floor ! from WWW.toolstation.com

You will also req; a gun to apply it, Item no: 52047 £1.88

Hehe, it is kinda creepy I guess :p I still consider it a baby, no doubt I'll be running into some of the really monstrous ones soon enough. I've placed my order, apparently I typo'd my details when ordering so the chap who runs the store called me and now it's all sorted out, really pleasant chap (:

Thanks again for the conkers tips. I'll proably check out for a backup in that form, I'd imagine if it really is effective it's been converted into a spray form, as I can't get hold of conkers now.

Thank Professional Landlord for the structural tips, as soon as I clean out those spaces I'll need to crack onto that right away. I've had a quick look and there seem to be a variety of types, some are straight-forward enough looking through descriptions and titles and of course quantity is self-explanatory :p Any specific recommendations, I'll end up asking them directly or finding out but just on the off chance (:
