where do you people live?
We have 7 day supermarket/POs here in Edinburgh
Custardy I am in London and don't have any local PO, not even crown ones that are even open STurday afternoons.
The small ones close at 12, the crown one is still 2pm but with no collections after 12.30. The main mail centre now closes at 2.30 I think, it used to be 2pm.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. I've noticed in the past that we seem to get less services in many areas than those further North.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. soolin, i wonder if this is because there are fewer post offices up north. or whether the north spends more money on post, communicating with the south. i'd imagine this may be the case with businesses0

My local post office is in the coop in town. Open 8.30-5.30, so not quite as long as the shop, but I think they are normal post office hours...0

That is why I had a buyer in Edinburgh complain that an item he won on Saturday night wasn't with him on Monday morning. He claimed all areas had a PO that was open on a Sunday. I live in the country and not even the main sorting office is open late. I love the way people assume every area is like the one they live in.0 -
