Used my £5 No 7 voucher to buy an exfoliator priced at £6.75, so paid £1.75. I did need/want it but can't really class it as a neccessary purchase so have spent £1.75 out of my tenner! :rotfl:0

Hi Guys and Girls,
I am having a NSD. Have no plans or not going anywhere (Sorry if I sound boring). Going to the gym tonight and thats all. Good on Kaz2904 on getting your hair cut. I get mine done every 2-3 months for £7.50 at my local college and I dye my own hair.I am full of joy, abundance, wealth and love.I am a money magnet. Money comes easily and frequently.Canada excursion fund £1243/2500£10000 from £100 challenge £0/£10,0000 -
Just thought I'd pop back to say that i haven't spent any 'unnecessary' money yet on this challenge so I now have £20 saved. No spends since last Thursday so 5 no spend days in a row, and last Thursday was meal out when we went to see dad in hospital. I did want to buy chips but DH decided I needed a treat! Dad has paid me back for costs involved in going to see him. He really does understand our situation.business mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527

Lent seemed ok, since it was a limit lol, but now I just seem to have lost my moral guidance!
me too ... last week was easy peesy but i'm struggling this week. think i've got about £1 left!! the mistake i've made is trying to use the £10 to buy my lunch at work (heavily subsidised so probably cheaper than bringing in lunch) rather than have a separate budget for lunch. think as of next week i'll use those little plastic bags you get from the bank .. one for £10 weekly spend and one for lunch money.
AND i've given in to chocolate!! it was a double decker and the memory of it is still clear in my mind so worth every calorie (unless about 5pm when i fancy another one!!!).
jet77 ... lunch with friend was worth every penny ... sometimes other people's needs outweigh our own i think.
kaz ... after leaving the hairdressers were you singing in your head "like you've just stepped out of a salon" whilst swinging your hair about or is it just me that does that???? oooh oooh ... will your hair get it's own budget like CAFCGirls???Total debt as of May 2007: Tesco [STRIKE]£8499.65[/STRIKE] £7,333.57;

I didn't go to a salon, I went to mates as her friend is a mobile hairdresser. I do keep swishing it though! DH says I've been done because his barber shaves ALL of his hair off for £8. I'll shave his eyebrows off for free if he doesn't button it!Debt: 16/04/2007:TOTAL DEBT [strike]£92727.75[/strike] £49395.47:eek:   £43332.28 repaid 100.77% of £43000 target.MFiT T2: Debt [STRIKE]£52856.59[/STRIKE] £6316.14 £46540.45 repaid 101.17% of £46000 target.2013 Target: completely clear my [STRIKE]£6316.14[/STRIKE] £0 mortgage debt. £6316.14 100% repaid.0

Kaz - I'd say he was the one being done, get a pair of clippers and he can shave his hair off himself, within about 3 hair cuts he'll have paid for the clippers.
All this talk of hair cut reminds me that I really should get mine done, I normally get my mother to do mine (33 and my mother still cuts my hair!!) as it's long and straight and just needs to be trimmed, but I've not been to see her for a while.
jet - I'd love to think that a friend of mine would spend 80% of their spending money on cheering me up if I was down it's such a lovely thing to do.
I was bad today, I said I wasn't going to get chocolate etc this week, and today I spent 64p when I went to post a parcel. Must resist tomorrow when I have to go back to post another one !Debts: Mum £3923 0% APR0 -
Spent £1.20 on hospital car parking.
Spent £6.60 on tablets.
Spent £1.40 on chocolate - the only unnecessary spend...

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH HA!
I've cracked it.
I just do not take any money with me anywhere!
This ensured I ate my leftovers lunch (wasnt that nice but substance!) instead of thinking errrr bleurgh and going out for something.
Also re-worked some rotas for work and I've got a long well friday to sunday weekend off. And I'm also participating in a pamper evening at a local primary school to promote my store and hopefully get some sales while I'm there too! TOP STUFF!
Pretty happy although (sort of) bf is doing my nut. Decide not to talk to him, simple as till he sorts himself out. If he turns up all well and good, if not, ..... ollox!Wealth is not measured by currency0
