You're not on your own, and apart from us, who admit it, I wonder if there might be some who won't admit it?!?

I did too - As I didn't have a spending budget last week (as didn't get paid till today) I was a completely NO SPEND. Cheated a bit by buying some stuff with shop (stretched budget a bit ;) , but please don't tell Queenie and have decided the shorts I bought I don't really need so they are going back:D

Went to pub yesterday and spent £2.85 on pint of Magners, so as a NO SPEND week, was an overspend for me. Oh well, back on the wagon with my NEW £10 and a no spend day for me today :j :j

Good luck for a new week and welcome Hols to the madhouse.

  • Hi, hope you're all ok and coping with this cr@ppy weather (think that might be our summer come and gone  )

I spent 4.02 today on first class stamps and packaging material for Ebay sales. I also spent 9.00 on Ebay postage but I don't count this in my spend as it's paid for by buyers and I deduct it from my Ebay profit on my spreadsheet accordingly.

I also spent 10.00 topping my phone up, but this was budgeted for.

Hope you've all had a good (and cheap!) day x

Wish I can do as well this week on the challenge as I did last week - only spent 90p out of unneccessary budget - hopefully will do just as well this week. Spent £6 today but this was budgeted for so no unneccessary spends yet for me!

Looking forward to the hair cut now. Been waiting 3 years. Only 8 hours to go.

No we have cr@ppy vending machines in the foyer of the restaurant. There's a coke machine in the front entrance. I'm on break on the ward. Theres only 3 of us so 1 has to stay on CCU and 2 on the ward = no break. We're not too busy though. so just willing the time away until I can go home to bed.I'll only get a couple of hours though.

I've got my nights starting this week, however we can't get on the internet, you have to be an F grade or equivalent to be allowed on it, we get stuck with the hospital intranet! I rarely go for my breaks, I come back more tired. Have a good sleep tomorrow!
