Hi Bunny - welcome to this mad, wonderful world :hello:

Pippo - we are in the same sort of club, as my life began a couple of years ago, so I am -2 :rotfl:

No spend for me at all this week and hopefully not this weekend either. Am off to work shortly and then am getting my spade and digging up some plants in somebodys garden who has answered a 'wanted' ad on freecycle. DS playing rugby tomorrow, so not a shop in sight :D

Have a good weekend all and happy no spends.
When you were born, you were crying and everyone around was smiling. Live your life so at the end, you're the one who is smiling and everyone around you is crying! :rotfl:

  • Hopin for a NSD today as well - I'm off to the gym in a bit and may pop into my mam's after for a free cup of tea with the added bonus of not washing the cup and spoon :T

Also, we go to MIL's on Saturday evening to watch TV and drink their tea, so should be able to put off buying a pint of milk till tomorrow when new grocery budget kicks in.

Have a good day all, will pop back later to see how everyone is doing :-)

i'm hoping to have a completely NSP weekend as spending it with BF ... they really do come in handy sometimes!!!

mmmm i'm a little bit confused about "when life begins" .. is it 30 or 40?? if 30 then i've got 1.5 years to clear my debts before raking up some new ones having fun!!!! ... if 40 then i've got ages and ages .... think i'll update my snowballing to pay only £30 a month and not £300 in case that!!! :rotfl:

running really late due to having to catch up with the latest goss with you lot ... gotta go, have a good day one and all and see yous later xx

I think life begins at 30 coz I'm going to have cleared my debts and have stopped smoking (am cutting down gradually and have halved my smoking in the last 4 weeks :T ) and be well and truly back on track

A budgeted 27 pounds on my 2 daughters dancing (15 monthly fee and 12 competition fees). Apart from this it will be a total NSD:T I also 4got (coz I was confessing to my sins :o ) to post that yeterday was also a NSD :T

I'm spending today cooking in bulk to freeze for DD's lunch box (apple cake/banana cake/and something with stale bread that I'm going to find out from the OS board). I'm also doing a load of mash which I'm going to freeze half portions and then do a chs/mash pie with the other one.

After that lot I'm going to do picnic for 2moro's car boot and sort the crap out for that.

I'm going round to a friends house 2nite to drink her tea, play cards and watch her tv ;)

Hope every1 has a great budgeted for or NSD!!!

  • Update - I spent £1 on three bottles of water on my way to the gym, have updated my sig. Will be refilling these now though - DH and I were sharing a bottle I had in the house and refilling for his jogging / my gym - thought I could splash out on a few more bottles for us to use

Won't be spending anymore today, so week one of the Unecessary Challenge has gone v. well, I have spent £57.27 of a £60.00 budget. From tomorrow week 2 will be difficult, I will need to spend full £25 on petrol so won't be able to rely on underspend...

I'm still v.please with myself though, first successful attempt at staying within a budget, despite overspending on £10 unnecessary, stayed within overall budget. I'm easing myself in to this, haven't got the lent challenge experience of you guys...
