Nearly spent my whole £10 in one go today because I forgot to take my phone up to bed. 2.45 I hear this odd noise coming from downstairs and realised it was my alarm! So I managed to get to preschool in time to pick up DS and not get fined £10 phew!
I'm pooped, really busy night last night so I'm looking forward to Tuesday night when I'm off! Shan't spend today as I can't be faffed to go out. DD's at a party so will be collecting her @6.00.

My first car cost me £50. It was a w reg MG metro called phoebe. The drivers side door wouldn't open so I used to have to climb across to get out to buy petrol! My last car (October- ford focus t reg) cost me £1880  and some git dented the back of it the other day when I took the kids to the park:mad: .

Kaz, does that mean that the school endorses a fine if you are late picking up kids? Seems a bit harsh to me that - how do they extract the money. What if you wont/cant pay, do the children have to do the washing up :rotfl:

  • Could I join in the challenge please? I've not had a good day today. I had to go to the dentist as a peice of tooth had broken off so a filling was needed. £43.60 for a filling! this was on the NHS that hurt more than my tooth.

You're more sensible than the average 23 year old.

But on the other hand, your average penguin is more sensible than the average 23 year old.

    Compare and contrast.
